**Payment Infrastructure for AI Agents**

Develop a payment infrastructure that is suitable for the AI age, with autonomous AI agents. Existing AI agents that charge a fee for tasks are set up in a way that the business operating the AI agent will have an account that receives payments for tasks, and pays the AI compute bills. It’s impossible to create bank accounts unique for each AI agent, so banking is consolidated at the business level. This means that the AI agent cannot be truly autonomous and permissionless if the payment rails for the business is disabled.

An opportunity is to leverage digital currencies like USDC as means for AI agents to bank themselves, so they can get paid for the task they perform, as well as pay for services by other AI agents. Participants are encouraged to devise innovative solutions for a payment solution that’s suitable for AI agents, and an ecosystem of agents leveraging this payment solution to interact and transact with each other.

Develop a social platform for Web3. We’ve seen attempts at Web3 Social, but they have either struggled with the initial momentum for viral growth, or lack the sustainability due to over-financing interactions. Participants are tasked with exploring innovative ways to reimagine social for web3, which can be either focused on trusted identity, secure transacting with each other for created digital content, or something completely new that can drive sustainable growth even within a small cohort of users.

**Monetization strategies for the creator economy**

The rise of the creator influencer economy has revolutionized how individuals monetize their content through digital platforms and social media. However, the dominance of companies like Meta and YouTube in providing tools and monetization services for creators limits their profits and restricts the tools they can utilize.

Web3 presents an opportunity for developers to revolutionize how creators produce, distribute, and monetize content giving creators greater control and ownership of their work. Stablecoins like USDC provide stability for exchanging value, while smart contracts and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) as unique and verifiable digital assets, enable developers to define the terms and conditions for content distribution, licensing, and monetization. Moreover, Web3 platforms offer the potential to reward users with cryptocurrencies for their engagement on various content formats, such as podcasts, videos, or blogs.

**Enhancing DeFi Interoperability**

The DeFi ecosystem comprises various protocols and blockchains, each with its own rules and regulations. While diversity has advantages, these protocols are also compartmentalized without interoperability, making it difficult for them to communicate and collaborate successfully. The primary challenge lies in the lack of standardized communication protocols across different blockchains. Each blockchain operates on unique rules, consensus mechanisms, and security protocols, hindering effective interaction between them. This limitation leads to restricted liquidity, reduced efficiency, and limited innovation in the DeFi market.

While various solutions have emerged, such as bridges, atomic swaps, side chains, and interoperability protocols, they come with their own challenges. For example, vulnerabilities in bridge infrastructure have led to significant financial losses due to hacking incidents.
